I would give Expecting Surrender 10 stars. It is HOT, HOT, HOT!!! Perfectly described, exquisitely detailed, compelling, deep, thought provoking, and did I mention HOT! You can find the synopsis anywhere, so I will tell you what other reviews don't. There is lots and lots of sex, thoroughly described, emotionally connected, mentally engaged. Wanted, needed, by both H and h. It is kink and BDSM erotica. Domination and submission is key and well developed, as are the characters. I feel I know them intimately. Probably the most poignant, in depth, fulfilling, BDSM erotica book I've read, out of the 433 BDSM books in my library. Literally could not put it down and have reread it 9 times. Mr. Evans is a consummate writer and fascinating story teller with a kinky side. Just perfect. KUDOS Mr. Evans

A make voice and perspective interwoven with a story on evolving relationship via marriage! Amazing journey with an amazing author!
This whole series of books was more than I expected. They were actually very good stories. You were able to get into the heads of the main characters.
I really enjoyed this book! The characters were strong and it's written very well. I loved learning more about the Dominion Trust and I hope there will be another in the series.
In all the books of his I've read so far he stops RIGHT when I want to keep going. At the end of this book there was a hint of what is going to happen but I want to READ that part. In every book "the more" just fades to black. So frustrating
I thoroughly enjoyed this book. I sincerely hope Mr. Evans will be publishing a sequel! He left me all hot and bothered and on the edge of my seat. The book explores the struggle to explain your dark desires to someone you love, someone you fear will run from you when you make yourself vulnerable. Each of the two main characters takes a turn diving ever deeper into D/s, finding to their astonishment that the other is right beside them. At the same time, their love grows ever deeper. I expect I will be reading this one again, something I rarely do.
I very much enjoyed reading this story. Keihl and Kirsten have developed The Game. Kirsten enjoys giving up her power and submitting to Keihl and Keihl very much enjoys her submission. As they progress further and further into The Game, they find out that their best friends are in a similar lifestyle only at a much deeper level. Then they find out they are pregnant. They have to work though their feelings and whether The Game (BDSM) is safe during the pregnancy. Luckily, one of the best friends is an OB/Gyn and he gives them the advice they need. Trent Evans wrote a wonderful addition to the Dominion Trust series. I think that this is the best of them all I really felt the love between Kirsten and Keihl. I give this 5 stars!
I am always impressed with a Trent Evans book. This one was no exception. Keihl and Kirsten seemed so real. They could have been the couple next door. I was really able to connect with the characters and go on the journey with this couple through the entire pregnancy. One of the few books that with pregnancy from the beginning. I have to say, the author did an amazing job on his research. Mr. Evans has a way of weaving a detailed, complex story that completely engulfs you and it is steamy-hot! I love the Dominion Trust and can’t wait to learn more about it.
