I'm not normally a fan of time travel books, but I took a chance on this one and really enjoyed it. The storyline had enough intrigue and plot twists that it was a very interesting read. I'm looking forward to reading the next one.

I like this book. Not only is it interesting from the beginning, it's a relatively unlikely tale which will wrangle your instincts into total belief of the plot, characters, and adventure of young Annalise. You root for this heroin on her quest for solace, safety, and identity. Good book.
Micah Gardner has given us a story in which to believe. The characters have depth and purpose which makes the story interesting and leaving you wanting more.
Each chapter title made me smile and wonder exactly what I would be reading within those pages. My favorite chapter title has to be 'Nothing Screams a Good Time like Linty Snot'.
I am looking forward to Volume 2 of The Triskel Devices.
All I can say is AMAZING! The more I read it, the more I loved it. I felt as if I was right there in the character's world, feeling and doing everything they were. I especially loved Annalise's personality, if it had been any different, the book wouldn't have been near as good. The fiery red-head attitude totally works. As I was reading, I too started falling in love with Reilly, he was a great character choice to go along side Annalise. If only there were really guys like him in real life, minus the mob involvement. I also loved the message of the book which, I thought, was love conquers all. This exceptional book perfectly mixes danger with romance, which always works out well. It was a great read, that everyone should enjoy. I can't wait for the next book to come out. I loved it!!

Annalise is an orphan that has spent her life in and out of foster homes. At the beginning of this story she is morning the death of Sister Mary Agnes, the only person that has showed her love throughout her life. She is given a locket that belonged to Sister Mary Agnes. She wears it to feel closer to her. The next day she she wakes up-not in a modern bed-but on a cold floor in 1920 Chicago and the action starts and doesn't end until the last page.

Irish bad boy, Reilly O’Regan has made enemies with Vintroni’s thugs and they are making his life miserable. Annalise gets involved and ends dodging bullets and fighting for her life alongside Reilly. During their journey they also find feelings for each other. Will Annalise finally find love?

The characters in this book certainly take you for a wild ride. There is not one page that doesn't have some action going on. In the end Reilly finds the truth about Vintroni and does everything in his power to find Annalise and keep her safe. The last part leaves you holding your breath waiting to find out if Reilly and Annalise can be together in the past or in the future or are the destined to live without each other.

The story was well written and kept you turning the pages. The characters are well developed and will make you laugh, cringe, cry and celebrate. This is my first time travel book and I fell in love with it.

Once I started reading I could not put it down. The characters and plot captivated my attention and kept it through the entire book. Very well written! I am looking forward to reading volume 2 when it comes out.
