I was given this book to post an honest review and I must say I absolutely love it! I started the book one morning, on a day I had quite a few errands to run, and just got sucked it. Needless to say no errands got done because I had to finish the book to know how it ended. I absolutely love the characters, the writing. and the story line. This is officially one of my favorites!
Bailey has a crush on her big brother friend Hunter. But when they marry in Vegas it doesn't stay in Vegas as this couple go from drunken marriage to true love. Fun book and looking forward to next book in this series.

When you have an older brother, it is pretty certain that he is going to have a friend that will take your heart away. Bailey fell into that category and she sure as did fell for her brother’s best friend, Hunter. He has always acted as a big brother to her. Apart from one time, a really drunk time in Vegas when they got married. If only Hunter had not rushed to the annulment, her heart would not be broken now.

Hunter is a man with commitment issues. He never experienced demonstrations of love from his parents and Blake and Bailey were his closest friends, more like family. He would never think of Bailey as a woman, so after the stupidest drunken night in Vegas, he wanted to make things right before his best friend finds out. Only that, after that trip to Vegas, Bailey was distant to him. Now he is back in Bride to help his friends at the ranch.

The story is really sweet. With the couple being friends since school and a love being fed for years, it was certain that a heartbreak would be out there. It was really lovely though and nice, as both characters came to understand what they want and what the need throughout the book.

Truth been told, I really enjoyed Bailey’s character and I sympathized! She could not trust her heart n Hunter’s arms, as he was never the relationship guy. At the same time, I enjoyed Hunter as well. He tried and fought for Bailey, until he realized his true feelings. Then he just fought more!

Hunter Evermond believes that all animals deserve a chance. Bailey Thayer is frustrated about things she can’t control. But do men deserve the same? This is a story that you start out feeling sorry for Bailey but end up feeling sorry for Hunter. At times I felt as if I should pack my bags and head to a horse farm to set the mood for this story – after stopping for my drink of choice.

This author grabbed my attention. Not with a lot of hot and heavy activity. Not with any type of suspense – well, maybe a little because we want to see what Hunter’s up to. Not with any type of mystery – again, maybe a little because we’re not sure of what Bailey’s going to do. But it has the perfect mix of all the right stuff to make sure that you will continually turn the page until the very end.

Ms. Blade is a new author for me and I’m glad that I was given the chance to read this book. I thoroughly enjoyed the story from beginning to end. There was one point though where I kinda wondered about a couple of the secondary characters – do they or don’t they? Did they end up in a story of their own? One way to change that would be to check out some of her other titles. Plus it will give me the chance to get to know more about the author’s writing style – looking forward to it.
